- Interal Affairs this weekend relayed the story of Pierluigi's unfortunate foray to the Council's Rules Committee meeting.
Wearing a new outfit, cowlick tamed, and with a Twinkie in his lunchpail, Pierre hoped his field trip would be fun. But some of the smarter kids picked on him. In fact, one person in the audience, IA relays, even said that he just raised these foolish issues to try to get attention from girls.
We don't agree. I mean, come on. No one pays any attention to the City Council. - As I often do, I was trolling FundRace to see which of my neighbors gave to Presidential campaigns. And I discovered something interesting.
There must be a good reason for the head of Goodwill to want John McCain elected.
My guess? Job security. - NOTE: Originally, I had a piece here which indicated that Pat Waite was disingenuous in an answer he gave to a question a reader posed last Friday. He followed up on it and noted a mistake I made.
I must admit my error. The questionnaire to which I referred is not inconsistent with Pat's statements. I'll do a bigger apology tomorrow.

I believe you mean that I support Proposition 8, not Prop 4. My Prop 8 support stems from my view of marriage as a religious institution, not from any bias one way or the other about sexual orientation. As my answer explains, I would prefer that the government find a different name for the set of implied contracts represented by a marriage license, and apply that consistently across heterosexual and homosexual unions.
