I saw the same thing at the Merc. It's off topic, but they've really screwed up their website. Their RSS feeds link to pages that have only the summary. So you get a summary in your reader, click the link for the full story, and get the summary at the Merc's website.
This one looks like somebody just fat-fingered it, though.
